Intel Bay Trail-T SoC For Tablets Appeared on Antutu Benchmarks

Intel's Next Generation Quad Core SoC named Bay trail-T based on Silvermont micro-architecture for tablets appeared on Antutu Benchmarks and it scored more than 40000 points which is very good score.

On the Antutu benchmark results the frequency of 1.1Ghz is displayed instead of maximum frequency 2.1 Ghz.So the above Antutu results are not final results

The main advantage of Bay trail-T is that it supports both Android and Windows 8 and at Computex 2013 held in Taiwan.Intel showed two tablets Tablet(one with Android OS and other with Windows 8) which is running Bay trail-T

specifications of those tablets are:

1. 10.1 inch display with 2560*1440 resolution
2. Support for Android and Windows 8

Intel also said that battery life is also improved with the latest SoC
Bay Trail-T SoC is expected to be released in the December

MediaTek MT6592 Octa Core SoC is scheduled to be launched in December

Production of MediaTek MT6592 the Octa Core SoC by the Asia's leading Chipmaker has been started and it is expected to be launched in November by Taiwanese Media Sources

The news has been confirmed by the leaked internal documents which confirms the specifications of MT6592

1. ARM Cortex A7 Octa Core Application Processor with Operating Frequency of 1.7-2.0Ghz which is  manufactured on 28nm Process
2. 8 core worked at the same time
3. Support Android 5.0 keylime
4. Supports 1080p Video recording at 30fps
5. Scored more than 30000 points on Antutu Benchmarks

Main advantage of MT6592 is that all the eight cores worked at same time and there low costs as compared to Qulacomm Chipsets.The same sources also said that Sample units released to OEM for testing purposes will be released by the end of July and the mass production will begin in November

Besides these MediaTek is also planning to launch Quad Core SoC MT6588 by the end of year

So by the year end we may see many chinese smartphone manufacturers would use MT6592 in their high end machines or it may even be possible international brands like Sony may use this chipset in their upcoming machines,as in the past they used their chipset in low end machines

Windows Phone 8 to Support 1080p resolution in upcoming Days

Justin Angel,Former Nokia and Microsoft engineer revealed that Windows Phone 8 is ready to support 1920*1080 resolution in upcoming Future.

The information came up from emulator files of Windows Phone 8 in Microsoft Visual Studio which confirms the support for 1080p resolution.The information was also leaked in past that Microsoft is planning to update Windows phone 8 with GDR3 update which support 1080p resolution and also supports for Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core Chips.GDR3 update is expected to be released in last quarter which provides Full HD support for 5 inch and higher devices

Currently Windows phone 8 only support WVGA,WXGA and 720p resolution and with 1080p resolution support,completes all the range

Samsung GT-I8800/GT-I8805 Tizen Smartphone Release Date Postponed by two months

Samsung First Smartphone Powered on Tizen OS release date has been postponed by two months due to the lack of completeness in App Store.The model numbers for Samsung Tizen smartphone (GT-I8800/GT-I8805) were already confirmed by previous leaks

The device was expected to be released in August,But now according to current reports the device may see daylight in November.Tizen OS is completely based on HTML5 and the phone is expected to come off with Samsung Homemade SoC Exynos 4412 Quad Core Chipset,720p display and comes with S-Voice Feature
